Song and Dance

After the Separations series I returned to using the exacto knife to create the forms. After playing and exploring various cuts I began to feel a sense of song and dance emerging from the forms. And with that simple concept this series came about. Overstimulated by the intense chaotic use of colour in the previous series, I chose to focus more on the dynamism of form and line. Capturing the sense of motion and flow generated by these two forms of art was an intriguing and enjoyable process.
